What is the Red Cross?. Is an international humanitarian movement, which was founded to protect human health and life, to alleviate and prevent human suffering and to ensure respect for all human beings. There is no discrimination based on race, nationality, religion, sex, political opinions or class.
About the Red cross? It has approximately 100 millions members, volunteers and world wide staff. Is an international humanitarian movement which consist in three distinct organizations which are depended from each other. This movements are united through common principles, symbols, objectives, governing organs and statutes. The three movements are: The International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC), The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the National Red Cross and Red Crescent.
The (ICRC) was founded on 1863 in Geneva, Switzerland. Is a humanitarian private institution. It has a committee of 25 members with a unique authority that it's under international humanitarian which is made to protect the dignity and life of victims of internal and international Armed conflicts. The (IFRC) was founded on 1919. This federation leads, organizes and cooperates with the National Societies. They provide assistance to large scale emergencies. The ICRC and IFRC were awarded the Nobel Peace prize. The National Red Cross and Red Crescent are part of most countries on the world. The ICRC have recognized 186 National Societies. They are admitted to be full members of the Federation. The National societies work on their country based to the principles of the international humanitarian law and the statutes of the international movement. In most countries they are linked to the national health care system by providing
emergency medical services. National societies can also go further humanitarian tasks that are not defined by international humanitarian law.
The Red Cross first aid is a very important initial care for an injury or illness. This initial care is usually performed by a non expert, but who is trained to assist on an injured or sick person until medical treatment can be accessed. The Red cross first aid classes consist on a series of potentially life saving techniques that a person can be trained to provide to others with minimal equipment. This classes also involved how to prevent an injury, respond safety and the phases of the treatment. The three main aims of first aid are: to promote recovery, preserve life and prevent further harm.
The Red Cross CPR is a first aid resuscitation method used on children and adults. CPR means Cardiopulmonary resuscitation. CPR is a very important first aid live saving skill. This effective method main function is to keep a person who had suffered cardiac arrest alive enough for a definitive treatment by a Doctor.
The first aid certification is provided to any person who had completed the first aid training. This certification is very useful for people who are involved on the medical area for saving injured individuals. This entity is a very important international humanitarian movement.
World Health Organization Essential Medicines

WHO's medication list advices that the medication should be available at all times in adequate amounts in a appropriate dosage form at affordable prices.
